Providing a free week of vacation lodgings to Purple Heart Medal recipients from the Iraq and Afghanistan Campaigns.
Since 2007, Vacations For Veterans has sent over 500 veterans and their families on free vacations. Help us continue this mission by donating funds to Sponsor a Veteran on a vacation.
"When we found out we could take a vacation with our kids through Vacations for Veterans we were thrilled! Not only did we have a wonderful time at the beach, we were connected with a generous donor who was a pleasure to talk and coordinate with. Injuries like Ryan's will never go away- it's such a good feeling to know there are people out there who still remember and appreciate his service and sacrifice."

About Us
About Us
Vacations For Veterans seeks to provide Purple Heart Medal recipients from the Iraq and Afghanistan Campaigns with a week of free lodgings donated by vacation homeowners.
Though it would be our honor to help all veterans, due to the small size of our organization, Vacations For Veterans has a very limited mission to help only Purple Heart Medal recipients from the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns. If you are a veteran who has recently received the Purple Heart Medal, and wish to apply for our program, please fill out this form.
Each wounded veteran faces new challenges: readjusting, rebuilding their lives, and reconnecting with their families. For many of our wounded veterans, time away to rejuvenate is a luxury that is often unattainable and unaffordable.
When you make a donation of time at your vacation home, or a donation of money to sponsor a veteran, you give our wounded veterans a brief respite when they need it most. You make entire families feel better through your generosity.
Providing wounded veterans with a week of relaxation is a wonderful opportunity for both veterans and donors alike. It is a chance for many of us to show our appreciation for our veteran’s honorable service to our country.
To help us help veterans, please donate time at your vacation home, donate
your timeshare weeks or donate money today. For more information, please Contact Us.
Vacations For Veterans™ is a civilian organization, with 501(c)(3) non-profit status. We are not a government agency and rely solely on the generous donations of individuals, corporations, and foundations who support our wounded veterans and honor their service to our country.

"My husband Adam and I had the most wonderful week in St. Thomas in October to celebrate our belated honeymoon. It was a badly needed break from the uncertainties and dangers of Adam's job. Many thanks to all of you at Vacations For Veterans and to the families who donate their properties—it means the world to us!"
